Wonderful 6th plate ambrotype of Robert T. Mcleod of the 1st Virginia Cavalry, Co. A. What a uniform! Mcleod carries an intricately decorated saber and has a book on his lap, perhaps his bible. A pistol can be seen poking out of his belt. Mcleod is identified by an old type-written note behind the image, which is housed a geometric thermoplastic case.
